“The Secret Was” is a remix of a song by Aahz called “The Secret Is”. Both tracks were done in Impulse Tracker. I basically just stole his samples and wrote a different song.

“Test the Limits” is one of my personal favorites. It was done live on two computers, beat matching Impulse Tracker and FruityLoops together. This was a technique I often used for live shows at the time.

“Alt 3-4″ is probably the most well-received RamenBoy track ever. I was forever in the shadow of this piece, despite the low-fi fuzz that was–to me–rather obvious on any PA worth its watts. Impulse Tracker.

Track 11 features some live noodling from two friends of mine who have since moved far away: Ryan Cope (DJ Polariz, Bethel AK), and Matt Wade (Bass Guitar, PA).
